UK: Cott Beverages to buy soft drinks maker
US Cott Beverages ended weeks of uncertainty over the future of Sangs, UK soft drinks and fruit juice maker, by buying it out of administration.
The company left more than $ 11.6 million in debts, according to local media when it went down. The paper adds that the Macduff-based business failed several times to stay within its banking terms and conditions.
Sangs, which went into administration in January 2012, employs around 60 workers and, produces and distributes fizzy drinks, juices and water, including the Deveron Spring and MacB flavored water brands. (bmg)
