RUSSIA: OOO Alpina expands with a new brewhouse
(beveragemanager.net) - The 60 hl GEA Compact-Star brewhouse entirely made of stainless steel consists of a mash tun kettle, a lauter tun equipped with Lauterstar technology, a Whirlpool/wort kettle with internal boiler and a condensate collection tank.
The Compact-Star System is rounded off by a one-stage wort cooling system with subsequent wort aeration, a CIP plant for cleaning the brew kettles and wort pipes, a brewing water supply system, complete with pumps, fittings and instrumentation. The brewhouse is fully automated and offers high flexibility in production demands at low staff requirement.
With the configuration of three vessels, the Russian brewery disposes of a brewhouse capacity of up to five brews per day. The modular design of the Compact-Star (GEA Brewery Systems, Germany) allows to increasing the daily production capacity at any time. (bmg)
